K.M. Froseth, Inc. was founded in 1977, primarily dealing in foreign gold, crowns, minors and ancients.

Kent Froseth is a life member of the American Numismatic Association (ANA) and Canadian Numismatic Association (CNA), and a member of the Professional Numismatists Guild (PNG) and the Numismatic Literary Guild (NLG). He is also a member of the National Association of Professional Numismatists and a founding member of the Industry Council for Tangible Assets.

In 1986, K.M. Froseth, Inc. was elected a member of the International Association of Professional Numismatists (IAPN), the world's most honored numismatic association.

Each year they attend major coin shows and conventions in the U.S. and abroad, including Hong Kong, Singapore, Zurich, London, Munich, Oslo, and others.
